One other thing, you cannot use the Canon software to scan. The printer is listed the same, with mac address following 'Canon MX860) series'. For whatever reason, mine needs to be listed twice-once as a scanner, and once as a printer. When I opened 'Print & Fax', my Canon was listed as a scanner. If it's not listed, click on the 'MORE PRINTERS.' button and search for it. If your Canon is listed there, select it and type in it's mac address in the box labeled 'Location'. If your Canon is not listed on the left under 'Printers' you will have to add it. Now, go to your System Preferences and click on 'Print & Fax'. You will be prompted to restart-go ahead and restart. Double click on it, and up will pop a screen saying, 'Welcome to the Canon IJ Printer Driver Installer'.
